My good friend Abbie (Abbie Takes Pictures) asked if I would like to come along and shoot with her and Katy (K. Corea Photography) on an engagement shoot with Casey and Amanda. Of course! I’m gong to wait to post more of my shots until Abbie gets hers done, but here is one of the lovely lady and her couple.

Well, the Fish Eye Fun camera made it’s second appearance at Abbie’s birthday party on Saturday night. It was a blast indeed! What a super fun group of friends she has! Check out the FULL GALLERY. Share For Free! You are welcome to download and share your pictures via email or Facebook or even MySpace (does anybody still use Myspace?), but please don’t crop out the watermark at the bottom! If there is a picture that you really like but the watermark is covering up too much of your face, send me a message and I’ll be happy to move the watermark around for you. How do you save your image(s) to post on Facebook?

I had a BLAST at the grand opening of the Artisan Cafe in Maplewood tonight. The “Fish Eye Fun” set up was a HUGE hit. St. Louis Bride Magazine hosted a bridal show at Windows Off Washington last weekend. I didn’t have a booth but I stopped by to do a little networking with other vendors. My good friends Liz and Kristie of L Photographie had a super fun photo booth set up for all the brides-to-be…. I might not be getting married but who am I to pass up an opportunity to wear a Tiara and white boa? Not to mention have my photo taken with/by two of the best photographers in St. Louis!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything because it’s been a while since I’ve shot anything. For the last three months or so I’ve been working on movies (Straw Dogs and Secretariat) to pay the bills until I can make the switch to full time photographer and it just hasn’t left time for anything. But I got a little break last week when I got the FLU. Was it swine flu? Nobody knows for sure, the test aren’t very accurate, but they think it probably was. I came all the way home to St. Louis to see my doctor just as I was finally getting better.
Before I came back to Shreveport today to head back to Lafayette, LA to finish up Secretariat tomorrow, my dad asked if I could take some head shots for him. He will be performing in Cabaret in a week or so (I’ll update this post when I have more info). I haven’t done a lot of head shots and we didn’t have a lot of time but I managed to get a few in the 10 minutes before the Soulard Coffee Garden opened for breakfast at 8 AM. It was a pretty morning and I wish we had more time.
The photos from the two games on 7/12 are finally up! It was hot for sure but that setting sun sure made for some pretty pictures!
