I had a BLAST at the grand opening of the Artisan Cafe in Maplewood tonight. St. Louis Bride Magazine hosted a bridal show at Windows Off Washington last weekend. I didn’t have a booth but I stopped by to do a little networking with other vendors. My good friends Liz and Kristie of L Photographie had a super fun photo booth set up for all the brides-to-be…. I might not be getting married but who am I to pass up an opportunity to wear a Tiara and white boa? Not to mention have my photo taken with/by two of the best photographers in St. Louis!

Tracy Carolyn posted this on her blog and I friggin’ love it… so monkey see, monkey do.

I had a GREAT weekend in Nashville at PPA’s ImagingUSA conference. I will write more about it later on Ben’s Photo Biz Blog but for now, here is a shot of all the hand outs and stuff I walked away with. I certainly learned a lot.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything because it’s been a while since I’ve shot anything. For the last three months or so I’ve been working on movies (Straw Dogs and Secretariat) to pay the bills until I can make the switch to full time photographer and it just hasn’t left time for anything. But I got a little break last week when I got the FLU. Was it swine flu? Nobody knows for sure, the test aren’t very accurate, but they think it probably was.  I came all the way home to St. Louis to see my doctor just as I was finally getting better.

Before I came back to Shreveport today to head back to Lafayette, LA to finish up Secretariat tomorrow, my dad asked if I could take some head shots for him. He will be performing in Cabaret in a week or so (I’ll update this post when I have more info). I haven’t done a lot of head shots and we didn’t have a lot of time but I managed to get a few in the 10 minutes before the Soulard Coffee Garden opened for breakfast at 8 AM. It was a pretty morning and I wish we had more time.

Well, I finally got Megan and Pete’s full wedding gallery up. It really was a beautiful wedding  and, as you can see, Megan was a beautiful bride. You can find all the images in the Client Galleries. If you know Megan, you know the password. It’s her nickname.

The Molly and Zeke Gallery is up!

Go to the Client Galleries and you’ll see a gallery for Molly and Zeke. The password is Molly’s dog’s first name (all lower case). If you don’t know her name email me or Molly.

As you can see, I had a great time at Molly’s wedding too! That’s Molly and I with our long time friend David in the middle.
