Sarah and Nate are getting married next May. I met with them a few weeks ago to go over their contract and collect their retainer. A couple of days later when I was doing my deposits for the week, I couldn’t find their check to save my life. It’s a bit embarrassing but they were really sweet and understanding… in addition to covering the cost of the stop payment on the check I offered to do a quick mini-session since we’re waiting until the fall to do the full blown engagement shoot.
Just shooting with them for 15 minutes on a muggy Friday afternoon makes me excited to shoot with them again.
The tough part about mini-sessions is just as we’re starting to get warmed up… it’s time to stop!
